Semi-Permanent Makeup

Semi-permanent makeup is a great alternative for many people.

It can benefit people with:
  • busy schedules
  • shaky hands
  • low vision
  • allergies
  • scars
  • Alopecia and hair loss
How long semi-permanent make up lasts is based on many factors including what colour is selected, sun exposure, and how quickly an individual person's cells regenerate.
Typically:
  • Eyebrows - microblending - 8 months - 1 year
  • Eyebrows - micropigmentation or shading - 3 - 5 years
  • Eyeliner -  3 - 5+ years
  • Lips - 3 - 5+ years
Touch ups are available every two years to maintain the colour.

Semi-permanent makeup is done by adding pigments to the skin with specialized needles.  A variety of colours are available to match skin types and makeup styles.  We use high-quality pigments from SCALPA.

Before semi-permanent makeup is added we use a local anesthetic to ensure your experience is enjoyable and painless.  This process is about as painful as getting your eyebrows tweezed.

Semi-permanent makeup heals in approximately one week.  Prolonged exposure to the sun and water is not recommended during the healing process.
